- Applications for positions were accepted, all positions were uncontested with one applicant.
- President - Joe
- Vice President - Jennifer
- Secretary - Liz
- Treasurer - Justin
- Sergeant in Arms - Sam
- Board Members - Jolene (past president), Alan, Melissa, Steven, +1
- These positions will be officially in effect in July.
- Melissa, the Shoe Drive chair, presented an alternative way to work with Souls for Soles. We can collect monetary donations that go towards purchasing a special, durable Croc shoe for children world wide without shoes. 40% of these donations stay with the organization (us) and the rest go directly to Souls for Soles. We can go forward with a local shoe drive that collects donations to be given to the salvation army and select a day to be at the mall and collect monetary donations along with shoes. Group agreed this was a good plan.
- The schedule of Wednesday April 15th Box Location finalizing - Wednesday April 29th Box Distribution was accepted.
- Growing the club was discussed and finding new meeting location options so we are ready for growth.

- Next week everyone will come to the meeting with their two locations for the shoe drive boxes.

- Use website banner for all signage associated with Shoe drive
- Group decided not as keen on "Souls for Soles" as much as just doing a local drive. Or, if we can have local organizations sign up on the "SFS" website, we can go that route. Also, decided perhaps teaming up with Salvation Army would be the best route.
- Introduction by New Crystal River Rotary liaison Jamie Bell with the Salvation Army
- Elected Melissa Shoe Drive chair - waiting for more detailed scheduling lof the show drive till next meeting
- Decided everyone should be responsible for 2 boxes. 2 locations, and 2 new members to join
- Some guest speaker ideas for future meetings were: Jo Meek, Marcus Adolfson & Anthony Vargas. We would benefit from getting young, successful speakers.
- We need a person to speak at least once a year at all local Rotary meetings, not just attend
- Need new Rotaract liaison for Rotary
- Liz bringing a physical calendar to the next meeting
- Next Meetings Agenda (4/1/09)
- Allen to explain the Bi-laws
- Jolene and Jo should have revamped the existing board layout
- Secret ballot voting for new board members?
- Liz is bringing an official calendar
