Frequently Asked Questions About Rotaract

What is Rotaract?

Rotaract is a program of Rotary International. It is a service oriented club enabling young people to network and get more involved in their respective communities. Citrus County Rotaract is sponsored by Crystal River Rotary.

What does Rotaract do?

Rotaract does many different things within the community that we work and play. For service, we participate in fundraising and volunteer activities for causes we believe in. For social activities, we do different things such as holiday parties, dinner outings, and pub crawls.

How old must I be to be a member?

Rotaract members range between the ages of 18 and 30 years of age. Beyond the age of 30, members join Rotary through our transition program. Below the age of 18 there are several Interact clubs through county schools.

What are the fees for Rotaract?

There is annual fee of $60 per member. As a chartered club we are responsible for managing our own funds.

Annual dues will be used to cover club expenses and charitable contributions only, and all uses will be fully disclosed during regularly scheduled meetings. However, by no means should dues discourage your participation. If meeting the dues requirement would prohibit your membership in Rotaract, contact an officer directly and we will make arrangements with you so that you can remain fully active.
